We love brands and the creative force behind them , they inspire us to look a certain way and bring out our mood of the moment. This time we are trying to imagine what Chloe would create if they were to design another collection that is more accessible than its main line.
Chloe has seduced us over the years with hit launches like The Paddington bag , soft neutral coloured dresses and separates that are not overtly sexy and have a playful edge to them. We love their shorts, lightly ruffled blouses and softly cut dresses and sleek jewellery in shiny brass tones.
We’ve created a couple of looks around the latest bag that’s been on everyone’s wish list, the Baylee bag, both inspired by Chloe ( we like to think that there is a girl called Chloe who actually exists and dresses that way).
We recycled an old petrol grey dress by Whistles which has a subtle slit in the back, by modernising it with a metal belt by Below the Belt, a pair of Aquazzura lace ups and an old necklace by Marni.
The second look is based on transparency and the sporty look that is so hot this season: a perforated and slightly ruffled top by Sandro, and skorts by Zara , teamed with gold tone pendant by Kenneth Jay Lane , an arrow cuff by Vita Fede and the very same Aquazzura lace ups. We just think that these shoes are so delicate and very Chloe like.
