Fashion hits, beauty tips & the art of recycling your wardrobe

It’s a new dawn it’s a new day: time to re-boot

Happy New Year my dearest SUF followers! I wish you all a vibrant , exciting , healthy and happy 2012 and hope that all of your dreams come true. After over a week-long absence from cyber-space due to endless food-orgies with family and friends over Christmas and New Year’s , some essential shopping over Boxing Day sales, but most importantly and annoyingly because the internet connection in some countries are appallingly, shockingly and illegally slow, I have just been itching to get back on air to share with you my latest thoughts.

After a few uncomfortable weeks of binge-eating, drinking like a fish and pushing myself to the brink of exhaustion, struggling to keep fit and trim while still enjoying carbs and chocolate, I have decided that 2012 will be the time to reboot and give myself a good dose of energy boost : from taking my vitamins religiously, to exercising 3 times a week at least and eating non-beige food (that is pasta, bread and all processed nonsense) but rather brightly-coloured foods that will boost my energy levels and get me working as harder as ever to bring you as much Style Under Fire as possible :)!

I thought I’d share with you my first outfit of the year, a sporty combo of bright citrus yellow and neon that truly expresses this wish to reboot, get healthy and get busy. Shown here is a loose laser-cut blue t-shirt, a present to SUF from A Boutique Society, bright yellow shorts from Adam at The Outnet , Tiger sneakers , yellow beads bought on holiday years ago in Brazil and our latest style crush a neon green satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company. Surfer chic meets Brazilian football team, makes us want to get up and grab a cool lemonade!

A winter take on blue and citrus is shown here at Joseph’s store in London’s Westbourne Grove.

4- paired with preppy checks @carodaur
