With all of the highly-charged bright colours and extravagant prints that are setting the tone for what seems to be a spring- summer season destined for the bold and brave only, it is refreshing to see a return of the 50s and 60s in the form of macaroon shades , Capri-pants and billowy skirts.
Here at SUF, we fell in love with a shadow-print cropped cotton sweater from COS which can be worn a la Audrey Hepburn with cropped cigarette trousers or more casual with distressed grey jeans. We’ve given an edge to this sweater by choosing the wackiest high-heeled courts: plastic covered heels from Miu Miu bought 3 years ago, or by dressing it down with two-tone Chanel-esque ballerinas from Tory Burch.
Toy-like effect of the plastic covered heels, yum…
Running around town in a pair of Tory Burch ballerinas in hot pink and tan. Studded Hobo bag in blush by Sara Berman from the Outnet.
Wearing a YSL cocktail ring for a designer touch…
We’ve also added a bit more fun to this cotton candy-coloured mix with 2 skinny belts in shades of pastel pinks. When you have such a will-defying sugar craving, what better way to keep the pounds and cellulite away than to just colour your life in pink!
