“ To make sure that you have the best hot looks for the summer, check out the following tips to get you started. It is never too early or too late to make the most of your summer wardrobe

Get Summer Ready

As many fashion divas have told us, it’s all about the shoes! When you want to make a real statement, make it by getting off on the right foot. When you want to set off an elegant Greek-style columnar dress, why not consider a pair of strappy heels that give you that phenomenal lift? On the other hand, if you have a dressy-casual party to go to, what about a pair of wedge heels that will give you the perfect summertime-fun look? The key to many outfits is that the whole thing should match. Not only should your clothes match your jewelry, but your outfit should also match your shoes. This is an important aspect of dressing well in the summer months.

Choose the Right Fabrics

When it comes to looking good in the summer, you know that you want to look hot, while staying cool. A good way to shop is to know what the fiber content of your clothes are. You will find that the most comfortable outfits for you to wear will be made of natural fibers. Cotton and linen are wonderful choices for many things, and though you might be surprised, so is wool. Wool breathes beautifully, and if you choose outfits in tropical-weight wool, you will have a snappy suit that looks good no matter what the season. The key, of course, is to skip the polyester, which will quickly become a hot mess.

Colorize Your Wardrobe

Leave the stark tones for your winter wardrobe. Summer is no time to indulge in dark or rusty colors. Instead, choose light and summery colors that remind you of vibrant nature and water. Blue and green are definitely summer colors, but then again, so are bright red and gold—they bring images of the summer sun to my mind. Choose the right colors for your wardrobe and you will be much more eye-catching. Of course, as rules were made to be broken, don’t underestimate the classic appeal of a black linen sheath or a stark white skirt, either! Pair a pair of white denim with a floral wedge and watch your outfit pop!
With summer rolling in in all of its glory, there has never been a better time for you to dress for the weather. Consider how you want to look and what pieces you need to get there!”

  • One last stroll in Dubai's Citywalk this weekend, admiring the modern architecture... after 6 years in Dubai I am going to terribly miss the spirit of this city... where literally everything is possible and where you can only dream big. If only most people and countries had that same ambition, the world would be a much happier place
